Starter Vape Kit closure before you order
Buyers come to us for starter vape kit after a bad quarter: dead stock on one side, empty shelves on the other. The cause is usually the same, an assortment built from a catalogue instead of from sell-through data. This page explains how we rebuild that balance for smoke shop owners.

Sell-through notes for the shop floor
This page is for smoke shop owners who want a working answer on specification, price and lead time before they commit a purchase order. We have written the detail down so nobody has to sit through a sales call to extract it.
Counter space is finite. Three well-chosen SKUs outsell nine crowded ones, and the empty space signals a curated range rather than a clearance table.
Photography matters for online listings. Shoot on a neutral background with the device at a slight angle, show the pack alongside the unit, and keep the same framing across the range so the grid reads as a family.
How orders move from factory to shelf
Damage in transit is nearly always a packing decision, not bad luck. Double-walled cartons, internal dividers and a drop-tested configuration cost a little more and save the argument at the other end.
For repeat buyers we hold a shipping schedule rather than shipping on request. A fixed weekly cut-off means your reorder lands before the shelf empties instead of after.
The checks behind every shipment
We photograph the packing station during production for volume orders. It is a small thing, but it settles most arguments about what was actually in the carton before it was sealed.
A 0.5 percent defect rate sounds excellent until it lands on a 600 unit order and you are handling three returns in a week. We quote realistic rates per category and we credit in advance for the known failure modes.
- Private label files archived for future rebrands
- Artwork proof plus physical dummy for custom packaging
- Consolidated or split shipping, quoted both ways
- Named account contact who has handled the product
- Document pack prepared per destination market
- Seven-day defect reporting with replace-or-credit
Unit price versus landed cost
Unit price breaks usually land at 50, 200 and 400 pieces. Between those steps the cost curve flattens, which is why pushing a 200 unit order to 500 often costs less per unit than buyers expect.
The cheapest way to lower your cost per unit is usually to remove a SKU, not to negotiate a discount. Fewer lines means larger runs, fewer changeovers and a better price at the same quality.
